You've found it! The place where you can keep up-to-date on Jacqui and Chris' experiences with YWAM (Youth With a Mission). Through the six months of training and supervised field work, they will become equipped to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ!

Jacqui's Testimony
"I have given my heart to completely to God
and I desire to continue to serve him for the
rest of my days and even into eternity. Missions
is something that I heard about a lot when I was
growing up. This past year I have been involved
with our church youth group outings to a downtown outreach centre and from these experiences I've gained a heart for the homeless.
I feel God is calling me into street missions
where I can share my faith with them one on
one. Living in the East end of Vancouver should give me first-hand exposure to a better
understanding of the needs and stresses
these people have each day. I believe that the
training that I will receive from the YWAM
Discipleship Training School will equip me to go
and share the gospel in another country."

Chris' Testimony
"When I met the youth pastor at Jacqui's church I
knew there was something different about him. He
loved me even though I barely knew him. He was
so compassionate and patient with me and my
struggles. I could see he had something that made
him complete. Even though I yearned for the same
completeness I refused to open my heart.
However, my emptiness grew stronger until I could
no longer take it and I accepted Jesus into my
heart! I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders.
Since then, I am learning to trust God and to follow Him. I hear God speaking to me though His Word and
His Spirit and He is leading me into missions. After
praying about God's plan for me, this verse jumped
off the page: "The Lord said to Abram, "Leave your
country, your relatives, and your father's home,
and go to a land that I am going to show you."
(Genesis 12:1)  I knew at that moment, what God
was calling me to do. I am to be one of the youth
that YWAM's founder, Loren Cunningham, saw in a
vision, spreading the Gospel like waves rolling across
the shores of the world."
