JUNE - JULY 2005

Dear friends and family,

Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus. We hope that you are doing well, and that you are enjoying the
summer months in North America. Winter has come to us in Willowvale, and even though Tyler still thinks it's
warm enough to walk around in shorts, I've been dressed up like an abominable snowman. A mother of one
of Tyler's students told us that she knows it's really cold when she sees Tyler wearing long sleeves.

The school has entered into a time of change. The hostels have closed and therefore Valley Dawn Christian
School is now only a day school. There were about 60 boarding students that now have to find
accommodation before our third term of school begins on July 18th. Many of the families are facing difficult
times with this change, but we are earnestly praying that God will provide a place for each and every student.
We pray that this next season of the school is marked by a new birth, and a newness of life. Would you
pray with us that the school moves into what God's purpose and will is?

We are eager to see what God has done in our students' lives during the holiday. Many went to the break
excited to share Jesus with their friends and family. One particular girl in my Grade R class was very excited
to share with her father. Just before the break I was giving the kids stamps on their papers for good work.
When I came to Nobantu I put a butterfly stamp on her paper. She got so excited, and exclaimed, "It's the
Holy Spirit!" I laughed to myself and asked her how she knew it was the Holy Spirit. She looked at me and
said confidently, "The Holy Spirit lives in my heart." With a smile I replied, "Yes, He does!" She continued,
"When I go home, I'm going to tell my father that I have the Holy Spirit living in me, and that he needs the
Holy Spirit too." I was moved, especially because this girl is only 6, and her father is a very angry man who
does need to know the Lord. It's amazing to see how God works through even the smallest of children.

During the last couple of months, Tyler has been very sick. He has had a terrible cough and has lost a lot
of sleep due to this illness. Tuberculosis is very common here, and so we were told by a doctor that he had
probably contracted TB. This caused us to worry, so he went and got tested last week. We received the
results a few days ago, and they came back negative. We were both so excited. He was put on antibiotics,
and within a few days, his cough was completely gone. Praise the Lord.

December seems to be approaching rapidly. Our volunteer service here is almost over, but we know that
God will move us into another area of ministry when we get home, and we are excited to see what He has
for us. We are still raising money for our plane tickets home, and we ask that you please help us in this
endeavor. We thank you for your continued prayer and financial support.

Prayer Needs:
" Pray that the money for our plane tickets comes in quickly.
" Pray that the students and teachers arrive back safely.
" Pray for accommodation for all of the boarding students.
" Pray for Delinda Higgins, the principal of our school, to have strength, and to feel the needed encouragement from home in order to sustain her for the rest of the year.

May God bless you.

In Him,
Tyler & Elizabeth Jorgensen
