Dear supporters,
We greet you in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus. Elizabeth and
I wish to thank all of
you for your continued prayers and support. We are much indebted to
your love and prayers.
Everyday we feel your support and prayers over our lives. These past
few months have been
an amazing time of seeing God move in our lives as he grows and strengthens
us. But also in the lives of those that we are here to serve. Everyday
I am blessed by students who tackle
me at the school breaks to ask questions about the Bible, that at every
spare moment all
they want is to know more about Jesus. There are Bible studies every
morning before school
and every afternoon. Some of our kids have been begging us to go down
to the town and
witness. God is alive in these kids' hearts. It is hard for us not to
want to adopt all of these
precious gems and bring them home with us, they are such a blessing
to us.
At
the same time there are kids who want nothing to do with God and are
vocally opposed to
Jesus. Yet, even there, we have seen some amazing breakthroughs. One
girl in my class decided earlier in the year that it would be her mandate
to lead children away from God. But
through prayer and fasting she has totally changed her heart. One girl
who said she hates
Jesus and was trying to invite demons into some of the other girls,
is now an active member
of the Bible study and is now praising the name of Jesus that she cursed
just a month ago.
God is breaking through and we are so privileged to be apart of this.
We have connected with the kids in such a fun and unique way as well.
One of my boys,
Nqaba, tells us everyday that he's going to come live with us, and come
up and eat lunch
with us because we have cheese. And everytime he sees us walking together
holding hands
he makes it his responsibility to seperate and stand between us and
hold our hands. He's sort
of like our little son. However, he is also the one who gets in the
most amount of trouble in
class. Outside of class he's so much fun, inside he's a little trouble
maker. Yet, he's one of
the reasons why we love and enjoy working with these precious children.
You are directly involved here as well. Your prayers and support are
what carry us through
the difficult times and we are glad to share with you the good times
and the victories in Jesus
that we have witnessed. Please continue your prayers. We love you and
miss your fellowship.
In Him,
Tyler & Elizabeth Jorgensen
